The world’s biggest Afrobeat and Afropop superstars
will be shutting down Toronto this summer at the much anticipated AFRICA
All Star Music Fest inside premier entertainment hot spot REBEL
(formerly known as Sound Academy) at 11 Polson St., Toronto on Friday,
July 14, 2017 powered by Kpopsy Entertainment Inc.
The
concert stars two of this year’s 2017 BET Awards nominees for “Best
International Act: Africa Category” Nigeria’s own Tekno and Ghana’s own
Stonebwoy. The concert also stars two of the 2016 MTV Africa Music
Awards (MAMAs) nominees: Franko by way of Cameroon and the MAMAs “Best
Group
Category” winner Sauti Sol by way of Kenya.
“With
the global impact of the African music scene, it was very important
that we bring to Canada some of the world’s biggest African acts, who
are all scheduled to perform a number of their chart-topping hits for
their fans. African music celebrates culture, diversity and the
creativity within our people. African music is a lifestyle and it is our
goal to create an unforgettable experience between the fans who attend
this concert with the artists they love. We can’t wait to share some of
the surprises we have in store for everyone at the Annual AFRICA All
