Former beauty queen turned fashion designer, Maryam Elisha has cause to give thanks to God when she escaped death after her Mercedes-Benz G-Class burst into flames on top of the Eko Bridge in Lagos.

the Chief Executive Officer of Rikaoto by ME, was said to be on the
wheels of the vehicle when the
incident occurred and she just managed to
escape being burnt alive while the G-Wagen was destroyed by the fire.
SDK reports that the inferno which
happened on Sunday, March 12, 2017, took the 2007 Miss Valentine Beauty
Pageant winner by surprise when she was alerted to the fire by other
road users.
The Kebbi State-born
Elisha who confirmed the fire incident on phone, said she had tried to
stop the car after being alerted to the fire but the brakes failed.
“When
the car eventually started to slow down, I put it on the park and tried
to open the door, which wouldn’t open until people came to my aid and
helped me out before the fire spread everywhere,” she was quoted as
saying.
Before she came into limelight, Elisha was
scouted by an agent while in secondary school and eventually worked as a
model for close to eight years, becoming the maiden face of Airtel
Nigeria when it was called Vmobile.
She

Nigeria, MTN Nigeria, Lucozade Boost and Diamond Bank before she won the
